Why we made Saporitoohs

It started with a meal in Europe. Somewhere between the olive groves and herb gardens, we tasted a condiment that changed how we thought about taste!— rich, aromatic, layered with flavour in a way that felt effortless. 

When we came home to India, we couldn’t find anything like it. So we made it ourselves.

Over several months, we developed and tested our own recipe — balancing the herbs and spices that work beautifully across Indian ingredients and cooking styles. We own that recipe, and we manufacture every batch ourselves, so we can stand behind every jar we sell.

Saporito means “tasty” in Italian. OHS stands for Oil, Herbs and Spices. Saporitoohs is exactly what it sounds like: a tasty blend of oil, herbs and spices — made for Indian food lovers who want restaurant-quality flavour at home.
